Built for the battlefield.
Made for everyone who flies.

How Ubermach trains perception models to defense standards, and why the same models now ship to fire brigades, rescue teams and utility crews.

Ubermach Team

A person seen from a drone at 60 meters is a handful of pixels. At night, in rain, behind smoke or against the glare of open water, it can be fewer. Defense customers do not get to choose better conditions, so neither do our models.

Every perception system we ship starts from that constraint. We design for the hardest version of the problem first, and only then ask who else needs the answer.

Trained from above

Most computer vision is trained on photos taken at eye level. Aerial work is different: objects are tiny, seen from steep angles, and they move while the camera moves too. Our detectors are trained on overhead imagery and tuned for the cases that matter in the field, like a person partly hidden by trees or a vehicle parked in shadow.

Detection is only the start. Each object gets a track that follows it across frames, so an operator sees one person walking, not forty separate alerts.

We design for the hardest version of the problem first, and only then ask who else needs the answer.

Hardened, then generalized

A model that protects a perimeter at night already knows how to find a lost hiker in the dark. The tracker that follows a vehicle near a border can count trucks at a substation. The work that makes our AI reliable under pressure is exactly what makes it useful everywhere else.

That is why the same models that run in our defense programs are available in Ubermach Flights. A fire brigade, a rescue team or a utility crew can turn detection on for their own flights, from their own phone, with the same engine underneath.

Heavy lifting off the aircraft

Inference runs on our servers, not on the pilot's phone or the drone. Small and inexpensive aircraft get the same perception as large ones, and the app stays light enough to install anywhere.

Your flights stay yours

Imagery from a customer's flights belongs to that customer. It is not used to train models for anyone else, and every photo carries a watermark and a SHA-256 fingerprint so it can stand as evidence.

Defense taught us what reliable means. Our job is to make that reliability ordinary.
